Lucid Dreams and Manifestation

May 13, 2025 by Angus Baynham-McColl

I haven’t had too many lucid dreams, usually I get excited about the lucidity and the dream quickly ends.

Lucid dreaming is something I want to learn to do often.

I see life itself as having many qualities of a lucid dream. The difference is the time, the space, and the consequences of decisions. A 15 minute dream is a free for all because there are no long term ramifications for actions. In real life this dream can turn into a mess because our decisions have lasting impact.

You can reach a lucid state while awake in human form while on Earth.

Your sense of reality when lucid will start to break down.

In 2011, I was very much interested in the paranormal, life after death and enlightenment.

This caused me to question existence.

Carl Jung coined the term “synchronicity” many years ago while doing therapy with a patient. The patient was doing regression therapy and was describing a golden beetle and in the exact same moment, a golden beetle landed on the window of the office.

I experienced many synchronicities around 2011-2013.

The first wake up call from the matrix I got was a Sens game (on the same day I was at my grandfathers funeral). When I got home the Sens were playing the LA Kings and Alex Kovalev scored his 1000th NHL point at the 10:00 mark of the first period.

The clock saying 1000 when he reached that milestone forever changed my outlook on the matrix.

The prior summer I watched the movie inception, the movie made me question reality.

The difference between a dream and something that’s real is a distinction that we imagine. Imagination is everything.

Later on I tried to manifest wins for the Ottawa Senators. On the 71’st Sens game I attended, they lost 7-1. I saw that as another glitch in the matrix. The next week I went to my 72nd Sens game. With the Flyers leading 4-1 with a few minutes left, the matrix took over the game, and the Flyers scored 3 quick goals to lead 7-1 and with 20 seconds left the Sens scored the last goal of the game to lose 7-2.

I was astonished about these coincidences.

So far my thought experiment around the team was rendering evidence that our consciousness has a major impact on what actually manifests. I continued to set intentions to trust the Sens would win. After the 7-2 loss, the Sens won their next 6 games. This further confirmed I had the universe working to manifest my intent.

Life is able to manifest your desires if they are genuine desires.

Whenever my soul truly wanted something, I was always able to get it. 200 Sens games? No problem. Army Cadet Sergeant Major? No problem. Many great poker games with buddies? No problem. Working a job where I get to help people and work in my element? No problem.

The law of attraction can help you manifest as you have already done before.

You are already moving towards your true desires.

The thing that people get wrong about the law of attraction is they think they want things that they really don’t.

Wanting more money is not a real desire because you aren’t linking the desire with anything the money would give you.

If money is a source of peace of mind for you, meaning that’s what it represents, then having peace of mind no matter what money you have or don’t have is the key to manifesting it. If you think money is a source of freedom, you’ll get more money when you exercise the freedom you have now.

To be clear about what your soul truly wants, I suggest you look at what you are doing and what you are fantasising about when you put no effort into controlling your thoughts.

You might want to experience enlightenment so life can feel magical again. So what I’m saying here is you want to manifest states, not physical things. The state will attract the correct physical reflection. So you can have what you want, but it might not literally be the thing you are asking for.

When you first begin to study the law of attraction and set intentions, you’ll get initial signs from the universe.

This is so you know the intention has been heard.

As you go on in life, the coincidences may fade and manifestation might feel more ordinary.

Manifesting a burger can be done for 10 bucks.

Getting a dream house is just as simple, but it might take longer. You will probably manifest the house a long time later and when it does manifest, you’ll be like, “aha I remember this”.

After letting go of an intention it has the ability to manifest. I manifested a dog a few years ago when I forgot that I wanted to be an owner.

To your success,

Angus
